I love my Honda ADV 150,
there are a million reasons why I love my Honda ADV 150 so much,
to make it short, I'll just mention three of these reasons.
1)It's my Honda ADV 150 1st Birthday!!
It's already a year since I paid it cash from the M.C. Briones Highway Maguikay, Mandaue City Honda CASA last March 15, 2021, thanks to the help of my sister. From the period of planning what is the best motorcycle for my daily route in school to home and vice versa. What is the best motorcycle for the Philippine setting, particularly Cebu, specially that our roads is not that I would say nice, their are so many uneven roads. Special thanks to youtube who had helped me a lot in deciding which is the best motorcycle to buy.
For the period of 1 year we had a lot of things going on, you take me to places I have never been before, you took me South, North, East and West of Cebu. From Santander to Daanbantayan, from Balamban to Danao, from Carmen to Asturias.
Its already the second engine change oil, your coolant has also been filled up, and the gear oil will be also be change as soon as I purchase the gear oil.
I already made a lot of upgrades and improvements to you, may it be the 55L topbox, full crash guard, mud guard, fender extensions, front fender guard and so many other accessories. I will be installing a GPS specially for my Honda ADV 150 as my last investment for the motorcycle.
Honda ADV 150 is a total utilitarian motorcycle, ample space for the 28L U-Box to carry my tools in the event that I need to fasten some screws or bolts on the Honda ADV 150, I even carry with me a mini tool box which perfectly fits inside the UBox with the optional TopBox, I can carry my things in school like books, projector, et al...
On January 10, 2022, me and my team of teachers conduct a "Home Visitation" to all Junior High School students in Casili Night School, there are so many electric post that went down in the nearby town of Casili, at that time electricity is not yet feasible which is part and parcel in conducting remote classes. We the teachers in Casili Night High School understands the situations of the families in the nearby town of Casili plus added the Covid 19 pandemic, face-to-face classes is not yet feasible. Honda ADV 150 brings me closer to my students homes, she brought me to where the exact location of my students, a very reliable motorcycle. I feel in love more with my Honda ADV 150 when she brought me to my students exact location during our Home Visitation, a bond that are made for lasting impressions and for keeps. I will cherish every moment that I have with my Honda ADV 150.
2)Sentimental Value
Since I started working out from college, I never had experienced having a car or even a motorcycle, my computer engineering degree didn't bring me to where I am now, thanks to my family who had helped me convinced in taking education degree, we are a family of teachers from my mother to my sister and now myself in fact I already celebrated also a year in service last January 21, 2021 since I started my assigned plantilla as a teacher.
Honda ADV 150 is my first ever motorcycle, with the help of my sister I was able to get this motorcycle and paid in cash from the Honda CASA.
I had knocked every door and every dead-end street, tried every local jobs in and out of my profession and in and out of the country, I finally knocked the door that opens for more improvements in terms of my Profession and Academics, I found it on Education - my second College Degree, I would like to thank DepEd my employer for realizing my potentials and give me a chance and opens its doors for me.
Being a Teacher when assigned to mountain barangays is a difficult and tough one, specially if you don't have any means of transportation in performing your duty, for I live far from where I am assigned. Basically a means of transportation is needed to get you from point A to point B and Honda ADV 150 delivers that.
Honda ADV 150 delivers me from home to the school and vice versa. Honda lives to its slogan "The Power of Dreams". Honda ADV 150 although it may not have a Dual Clutch Transmission and an AI technology compared to its big brother Honda X-ADV 750 or maybe a more advanced "Africa Twin", Honda ADV 150 builds a sentimental value as my first ever hard earned money coming out of my pocket motorcycle. Technically Honda ADV 150 was not my first motorcycle, my mother bought a manual clutching motorcycle Honda CB110, which I find it difficult to ride, I cannot drive a clutch motorcycle - I always end up with a dead engine and afraid that it might be the cause of accident and consequently gave the Honda CB110 to my younger brother, which drove me from home to school and back when I didn't have the Honda ADV 150 yet, so technically Honda ADV 150 was my first motorcycle, it offers Automatic CVT belt engine.
The braking power of Honda ADV 150 is powerful and smooth with its front ABS brake, I have no worry of braking power with the Honda ADV 150 may it be downhill from transcentral highway or on any of the mountain barangays, the torque is strong and powerful enough to pull you up even to the steepest hill climb.
Honda ADV 150, have also the following features like the alarm system, keyless entry, LED DRL Lights. Which is very difficult to find a feature with the same price range @ P 155,000.00 or approximately about $4,000.00 or more, plus it has the showa suspension to seamlessly and smoothly makes every rough ride a smooth one literally.
It has more gas mileage approximately about 38km to 42km per liter, the Honda ADV 150 is perfect for touring which showcase an 8L of gasoline engine. The Honda ADV 150 features Idling Stop, which serves to saves gas in the event you stop or stuck in the traffic.
3)Honda ADV 150 looks good on premium pair of leather boots.
I like buying good quality, top of the line and premium items, which serves as a reward for my hard days work as a teacher/engineer and Honda ADV 150 is not an exception, in the Philippine market it is an expensive motorcycle for the average Filipino Juan. Quality has its price, with a little common sense and an independent research on which item to buy, I came up with the Honda ADV 150 as my motorcycle of choice, in order to enjoy the ride more, I must have a couple of premium items on my hand, like a premium pair of boots, specially when it rains, I need a waterproof boots to keep my feet dry and comfy, with the safety and comfort without compromise. I ordered and received a pair of Caterpillar Excavator XL 6" Boots which is perfect for any rides and motorcycle tours, it cost $200 from Amazon which was delivered last February 5, 2022. I order another pair of leather Timberland Pro Boondock Boots which is also cost another $200 plus, and another from Keen Utility Philadelphia, which cost about $310.00
